Witch Camp closed!
AfCHuRSD was part of the team that officially closed permanently the Witch Camp in Nabuli,Gushegu in the Northern Region, in December,2019 together with the Commission of Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) and Action Aid Ghana.
During the lockdown of COVID 19 in Accra, AfCHuRSD identified and collected data of some women and girls(Kayayei) in Tamale in the northern region and Wa in the Upper West regions who travelled back home from the cities due to the lockdown and wished to stay back home if supported to learn a trade.
